Ukraine Crisis : European Union(EU) shuts airspace to Russian airlines; will buy arms for Ukraine

The European Union’s CEO says the 27-country alliance will close its airspace to Russian aircrafts, reserve supplies of weapons to Ukraine and boycott a favorable to Kremlin news sources because of Russia’s attack.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Sunday, “Out of the blue, the European Union will fund the buy and conveyance of weapons and other gear to a country that is enduring an onslaught.”

Von der Leyen added that, “We are closing down the EU airspace for Russians. We are proposing a restriction on all Russian-possessed, Russian enlisted or Russian-controlled airplane. These airplanes can no more land in, take off or overfly the domain of the EU.”

She said likewise the EU will boycott “the Kremlin’s media machine.
