Twitter said on Monday it will pay $809.5 million to settle a claim charging that the organization deceived financial backers concerning how much its client base was developing and how much clients connected with its foundation. The organization said the proposed settlement settle all cases against it without Twitter conceding any bad behavior.

The first claim recorded in 2016 by Twitter financial backer Doris Shenwick guaranteed that Twitter leaders “intentionally offered wrong open expressions with respect to these measurements, and neglected to uncover inside data about them, bringing about a swelled offer value that fell when reality with regards to client commitment became known.”
