Supreme Court to hear today at 5pm Shiv Sena’s plea challenging governor’s order to Uddhav Thackeray govt to face floor test

The Supreme Court on Wednesday consented to hear at 5pm the request of Shiv Sena boss whip Sunil Prabhu moving the Maharashtra Governor’s heading to the Uddhav Thackeray-drove Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government to take floor test in the Assembly on Thursday.

An excursion seat of Justices Surya Kant and JB Pardiwala observed the entries of senior backer AM Singhvi that a critical hearing was required considering the choice taken by Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari requesting that the MVA government demonstrate larger part at 11am on Thursday.

“We will keep at 5pm. Kindly ensure that paper books are provided by 3pm to parties concerned,” the seat said.

Singhvi said the floor test could exclude names which are “demonized”.

Prior, the zenith court on June 27 had kept in suspension the preclusion procedures against rebel Shiv Sena MLAs before the Deputy Speaker of the state Assembly till July 11, and furthermore looked for reactions from the state government and others on their requests scrutinizing the legitimateness of notification looking for their exclusion.
