After a court-commanded videography of the Gyanvapi complex found a ‘Shivling’ on its premises, Diwakar had on Monday requested the spot to be fixed. He had requested the Varanasi District Magistrate to seal the region where the ‘Shivling’ was found to guarantee that nobody entered the premises. It had requested the District Magistrate, Police Commissioner and the Central Reserve Police Force to guarantee that the fixed region stayed free from even a hint of harm.

The Supreme Court had on Tuesday requested insurance of the region where a ‘Shivling’ was accounted for to have been found at the Gyanvapi Shringar Gauri Complex in Varanasi and explained that there will be no limitation on Muslims offering namaz or other strict observances there.
