Mumbai Police on Wednesday recorded a strengthening chargesheet in an obscene substance case naming imprisoned money manager Raj Kundra, who was captured for the situation in July.

The almost 1,500-page charge-sheet against Kundra, 45, the spouse of Bollywood entertainer Shilpa Shetty, and his partner Ryan Thorpe, was documented under the watchful eye of a judge court here by the wrongdoing branch.

They have been reserved under segments of the Indian Penal Code identified with inappropriate behavior and cheating among others, also arrangements of the Information Technology Act and the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act.

Shetty, in her assertion to Mumbai police, a duplicate of which has been gotten to by The Indian Express, said, “Kundra began Viaan Industries Limited in 2015 and I was one of the chiefs till 2020 when I surrendered because of individual reasons.”

“I’m not mindful of the Hotshots or Bollyfame applications. I was excessively occupied with my own work and thus, not mindful with regards to what Kundra was doing,” she added.

The wrongdoing branch, had in April this year, documented the first chargesheet for the situation against nine people.

Kundra and Thorpe were captured by the Mumbai wrongdoing branch on 19 July, and both are as of now in prison under legal authority.

The body of evidence against Kundra identified with supposed making of explicit movies and distributing them through some applications.

In the mean time, Shilpa Shetty on Wednesday attempted a journey to the blessed cavern sanctum of Mata Vaishnodevi in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi region.

She showed up at Katra, the headquarters of the cavern sanctum on Wednesday, police authorities said. Before long appearance, Shetty, joined by police faculty, attempted the excursion to the hallowed place on a pony, they said. She recited ”Jai Mata di” during the excursion.

Conversing with journalists, she said, “I’m exceptionally glad to be here. It was because of the goddesses’ call that I came right to pay respect to her.”
