Schools Reopening: Maharashtra schools to reopen from August 17, SOPs released.

Maharashtra government has chosen to return schools in the state from August 17, 2021 onwards. The state government will return the schools in regions where Covid cases are taken care of and they can restart the actual classes. The standard working methodology have been delivered by the public authority for actual classes.

The schools will continue from the following week onwards for classes 5 to 12 in rustic regions and for classes 8 to 12 in metropolitan regions. Every one of the schools, instructing, and non-showing staff and understudies should follow SOPs gave by the state government.

According to the SOPs, for the wellbeing of the staff and understudies, inoculation has been made necessary for educators/staff. We have likewise established a team headed by the authority/magistrate to screen the resumption and safe tasks of schools, said School Education Minister of the state, Varsha Gaikwad.

The participation standards in the schools have been loose and understudies will require guardians’ agree to go to the schools subsequent to resuming. The choice anyway was taken by the state government after 81% of guardians in the study done by SCERT Maharashtra said that they need the schools to return.
