Congress pioneer Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Center over rising fuel costs, saying petroleum and diesel are presently more costly than flight turbine fuel.

“The BJP government guaranteed that individuals wearing hawai chappal (shoes) will go in planes. In any case, the BJP has expanded the fuel costs such a lot of that now it is more hard for the working class to go by street,” she tweeted in Hindi and joined a news cut-out contrasting avionics turbine fuel costs and that of petroleum and diesel.

Aviation fuel costs ₹79 per liter while petroleum ₹105.84 a liter in Delhi.
