Senior Congress pioneer P Chidambaram on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi made the declaration to annul the ranch laws without holding a Cabinet meeting, and asserted that it is just under the BJP that laws are made and destroyed without earlier Cabinet endorsement.
The Congress chief’s assault came a day after Modi in a location to the country reported the cancelation of the three agri laws that had set off a time of fights by ranchers.
“Home Minister hailed the PM’s declaration as showing ‘wonderful diplomacy’. BJP President said that PM has ‘massive consideration for ranchers’. Guard Minister said that PM had taken the choice thinking about the ‘government assistance of the ranchers’. Where were these commendable pioneers and their savvy counsel over the most recent 15 months?” Chidambaram said on Twitter.
“Did you notice that the PM made the declaration without holding a Cabinet meeting?” the previous Union priest inquired.
“It is just under the BJP that laws are made and destroyed without earlier Cabinet endorsement,” he proceeded to assert. PTI
