The Supreme Court on Friday consented to hear on March 11 a request testing award of bail by the Allahabad High Court to Ashish Mishra, child of Union priest Ajay Mishra, regarding the Lakhimpur Kheri viciousness that left eight individuals, including four ranchers, dead.

A seat headed by Chief Justice NV Ramana observed the entries of legal advisor Prashant Bhushan that the other charged for the situation are moving courts for award of bail refering to the alleviation conceded to Ashish Mishra.

Three relatives of ranchers, who were killed in the savagery, have looked for a stay on the February 10 bail request of the great court, saying the decision was “impractical according to regulation as there has been no significant and successful help by the state to the court with regards to this issue”.

On October 3 last year, eight individuals were killed in Lakhimpur Kheri during viciousness that ejected when ranchers were challenging Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit to the area.

Four ranchers were cut somewhere near the SUV. A driver and two BJP laborers were then supposedly lynched by irate ranchers.
