India and China will hold a virtual meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on Thursday, after the impasse during the gathering of military commandants on October 10.

The wide based WMCC is driven by the senior representative Naveen Srivastava and incorporates Army authorities, the Indo Tibetan Border Police and the Ministries of Defense and Home. The Chinese additionally have a similarly wide based portrayal.

At the October 10 gathering, India had inferred that the Chinese were not being accommodative.
